Team Member

  • Part-time
  • $12 / hour
  • In store · Manhattan, KS

Thread is a custom apparel shop on Moro Street in Manhattan. We print shirts, hoodies, hats and just about anything else, for K-State students, local businesses, teams, and anyone who walks in with an idea.

A Team Member here does a bit of everything: helping customers at the counter, and helping get orders out the door in production.

What you'd do

  • Help customers at the counter, from walk-ins with a rough idea to people picking up a finished order
  • Learn our products and pricing well enough to answer questions confidently
  • Take in artwork and order details accurately
  • Help in production: printing, pressing, and quality checking customer orders.
  • Fold, count, tag and pack finished orders
  • Keep the shop clean and the inventory straight
  • Help look after the machines along with the rest of the team

What we're looking for

  • Comfortable talking with people you haven't met
  • Careful with details. A misspelled name costs us a shirt.
  • Reliable about the shifts you commit to. We're a small team, so coverage matters.
  • Willing to learn the equipment, and to ask when you're not sure
  • Careful with materials, since most of what we work with can't be un-printed
  • Happy to tell us early when your schedule changes

What you don't need

  • Any printing, embroidery or design experience. We'll teach you all of it.

The details

  • $12 per hour to start
  • Part-time
  • In store, on Moro Street in Manhattan, Kansas

Applications close September 30, 2026.
